Humanity First and IAAAE Partnership.
In many parts of Africa, Humanity First has teamed up with the International Association of Ahmadi Architects & Engineers (IAAAE) to build and renovate water handpumps. Humanity First has worked with IAAAE in Kenya, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Mali, Benin, Togo and Ghana.
IAAAF is an international association with the aim of providing humanitarian aid and development to people in need, providing access to clean water in many regions of Africa, as well as renewable energy solutions and more.
A couple of years ago, Humanity First also invested in its own drilling rig, and now the team have been working jointly to build new boreholes across Benin and Togo at a much lower cost and with greater control in maintaining quality. The team are also training local water engineers and exploring emerging technology to proactively monitor the quality and pressure of water, and to reduce the mean time between failures of hand pumps.
