Water For Life: Providing Clean Water For People in Gaza
Humanity First Water For Life programme is dedicated to providing fresh and clean water to those who are unable to access it. Access to water is a basic human right. Unfortunately many people in the world do not possess access to water, either due to war, famine or environmental concerns. Humanity First aims to remedy that by supporting communities and people with facilities. We are working on projects designed to supply people with long lasting sources of water that continue to nourish them and the future generations to come.
Scarcity of Water in Gaza
The Israel-Gaza conflict has been a long-standing feud between the Israeli army and militant forces stationed in the Gaza Strip, where a large number of Palestinians live. Countless wars and battles have scarred the land and depriving innocent Palestinian civilians of healthy living conditions. leaving people in desperate need of food, water, and shelter to protect themselves and their families. While we often take food and water for granted in our warm and heated homes. Palestinians struggle daily, often suffering from hunger and dehydration.
Humanity First Team on the Ground Helping People in Gaza Suffering from Water Shortage
Relentless Israeli airstrikes have brutally damaged Gaza. Organizations such as the World Food Programme (WFP) warn that at least half of Gaza’s population is starving. Malnutrition cases among children in Northern Gaza increased by more than 300 percent between May and July 2024, worsening the humanitarian crisis. However, Israeli blockades have severely limited aid, causing mass casualties as starvation spreads. According to US sources, at least 62,000 people have died in Gaza from starvation, mostly children, this being a conservative statement.

As a result of the imminent warnings of famine by these organisations, Humanity First have rushed to the aid of people in Gaza. Humanity First delivered water tankers to the people of Gaza. Under our Water For Life programme, we keep supporting hundreds of people as the shortage of water increases evermore in the region.
Donate Today and Save Lives in Gaza
Reports regarding the poor quality of water in the strip are commonplace nowadays. The BBC has reported that as of May 2024, half of the Gaza water sites have either been damaged or destroyed. Meanwhile, the United Agency aid agency has warned that the water services in Gaza are at a “point of collapse”, with people having less than 1.5 – 2 litres of water per day – less than the estimated minimum of 3 litres (and that’s just for survival). These harrowing reports make it all the more clear that the situation in Gaza is dire, but with your donations, Humanity First can keep providing water tankers and other humanitarian aid to the citizens who so desperately require it.
We need your support and donations to keep supplying our humanitarian aid to Gaza.
